| ESI IVX Classic Analog Systems (EKT-A's) |  The ESI Classic was the first ESI IVX phone system. You won't see the word 'Classic' written anywhere on the phone box or in published reference materials you may still have. It is often referred to as the Classic now simply because of its antiquity.
This system uses only the EKT-A telephone sets. You can distinguish them from the DP1 phones (which came with the next generation of phones and don't work on this system) by looking at the bottom of the phone. Also, if you examine the picture on the EKT-A closely, you wills ee the bright blue Messaging button is located differently than the Messaging button on the DP1.
